Abstract artworks that reinterpret the Earth from an aerial perspective.

Handcrafted using wooden structures, natural pigments, and rich textures, each piece transcends decoration, inviting you to pause, reflect, and discover a new way of seeing the world.

Beyond Vantage

A way of seeing. A way of living.

Changing your perspective reveals new forms, new connections, and new possibilities.

Beyond Vantage is the philosophy behind every Rusto piece, inviting you to see the world beyond the obvious.

Rusto

An Artistic Language Inspired by the Earth.

Rusto is not a found word. It is a word created to define a distinctive artistic language.

Inspired by geological formations and natural phenomena, it transforms the Earth into abstract compositions where materiality, texture, and relief take center stage. Each piece begins with an aerial perspective, revealing patterns, forms, and landscapes that often go unnoticed.

Material

Where Nature Takes Shape.

Rusto's artworks are handcrafted on wooden structures, featuring richly textured surfaces that bring depth and character, finished with natural pigments.

No two surfaces are alike. Their irregularities are part of the creative process, reflecting the authenticity of handmade craftsmanship.

Unique and customizable pieces that preserve the essence of materiality and the imperfect beauty of nature.

Cristina Luque

The Artist Behind Rusto.

I was born in Seville and now live in Dublin. For years, I followed the path that seemed right: a university degree, a master's degree, a good job, new languages, and milestones achieved. Yet with every goal I reached, I felt further away from what I was truly looking for.

Moving to Ireland changed that perspective. Uncertainty, change, and distance led me to realize that I wanted to build a life guided by curiosity rather than inertia.

That was when painting found me. Not as a hobby, but as a way to reconnect with myself. Creating became a way to connect with materiality, slow down, and realize that the best answers often appear when we dare to look from a different perspective.

That's how Rusto was born. A project where my way of living and my way of creating come together to give life to artworks that invite others to discover that every transformation begins with a new perspective.
