Beyond Vantage

Perspective changes everything -
Abstract artworks that reinterpret the Earth from an aerial perspective.

The Process

Layer. Rest.
Reveal.

Ground — wooden structure prepared by Cristina Luque
I

Ground

The wooden structure is prepared and primed by hand. The surface begins as pure possibility — no shortcuts at this stage.

Texture — plaster and relief applied by Cristina Luque
II

Texture

Layers are built up by hand, one over the other. Each coat is left to dry before the next — days, not hours.

Pigment — natural earth pigments used by Cristina Luque
III

Pigment

Natural pigments are worked into the wet surface. Never a brush — the material decides where colour pools.

IV

Shipping

Shipped worldwide, flat-packed and fully insured. Each piece is wrapped by hand to protect the surface texture.

In their homes

Placed.

Works that found their people.

About

Rusto — Beyond Vantage

Perspective changes everything.

Abstract artworks that reinterpret the Earth from an aerial perspective. Handcrafted using wooden structures, natural pigments, and rich textures, each piece transcends decoration, inviting you to pause, reflect, and discover a new way of seeing the world.

Beyond Vantage

A way of seeing. A way of living.

Changing your perspective reveals new forms, new connections, and new possibilities. Beyond Vantage is the philosophy behind every Rusto piece, inviting you to see the world beyond the obvious.

Rusto

An Artistic Language Inspired by the Earth.

Rusto is not a found word. It is a word created to define a distinctive artistic language. Inspired by geological formations and natural phenomena, it transforms the Earth into abstract compositions where materiality, texture, and relief take center stage.
